A Silent Songbird

The children in year 1 and 2 were fortunate enough to watch a play that was put on by Peoplescape Theatre.

The main characters in the story was a girl called Joy and her Grandpa.  They both love the birds in his garden and are very keen to help protect birds all around the world.

What Miss Francis had to say:

Today's play was fabulous. The actors popped into classes beforehand to generate ideas for parts of the play that would make it personal to the them. When we were in the hall, the children saw an amazing performance about Joy and her Grandpa. Joy loves music and throughout the play the children got to take part in soundscapes and all sorts of sounds we hear, including a birds song. We really enjoyed it!
