Mental Health & Wellbeing
It is a fact that children with higher levels of emotional, behavioural and social wellbeing, on average, have higher levels of academic acheivement and are more engaged in school both now and in later years. Here at Charlestown, we value the whole child. We aim to be the centre point in our community for all families and their differing needs.
Our staff and children use the 5 ways to wellbeing as techniques to maintain a healthy mind. Further details are available here:

Healthy minded children need healthy minded adults around them so if you have any ideas about how we can use our community room to deliver sessions that can support parent mental health, please do get in touch.
This section of the website will guide you to video, websites and other resources to support yourselves and your children in achieving healthy minds.
