Reading

Children learn so much from sharing books and stories. Here in EYFS we read a range of texts all day, everyday. When sharing books and stories, we are helping with children's learning, development, language and communication. We are encouraging children's imagination, curiosity and arousing emotion. By sharing texts and talking about them, we are allowing children the chance to discuss what is happening, learn new vocabularly and take a break from the 'real world'. We LOVE reading!

We share, explore and look at a range of books and stories in both Nursery and Reception. Here are some of the books we will be using in our reading and literacy sessions and the Nursery Rhymes we will be learning throughout the Autumn One.
