The Danger Tree Exhibition


To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Somme

By impressionist action painter Scarlett Raven

And digital artist Marc Marot


The Danger Tree augmented reality art exhibition is at the Manchester Central Library.

It consists of ten painting, all of which integrate digital imagery, music and augmented reality into the work. All of the painting were inspired by poems, stories, letters and memories from WW1.

The audience are invite to reveal the layers beneath the canvas using Blippar technology.

Each picture contains its own unique music, poem, letter or memories, enhanced by the reading of some great actors, including Sean Bean, Christopher Eccleston and Vicky McClure.
